TOMY Company, manufactures toys and games, including video games, and apparel for children and infants and is one of Japan's leading toymakers. About 90% of its toys and games are sold in Asia, with Europe and the US accounting for the rest. TOMY's key toy product lines include baby & toddler, bath, preschool, and Transformers. TOMY also makes such game products as Screwball Scramble, Pop up Pirate, and Rumble in the Jungle. TOMY acquired another toy maker, Takara, in 2006 as part of an initiative to extend the reach of its brand. Founded in 1924, TOMY operates in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, France, the UK, and the US.
