CEDAR Audio makes audio restoration processors and systems used in audio and video recording preservation and audio forensics applications. The company's products are used to remaster old recordings, to analyze and clean-up recordings used in legal investigations, and to suppress unwanted noise in broadcasts. CEDAR Audio also offers forensic audio services such as tape authentication, enhancement, and editing, and commercial audio restoration. The technology was initially developed at the University of Cambridge for the British Library National Sound Archive.
