TEAC America has a long record of recording. The largest subsidiary of Japanese electronics maker TEAC, the company manufactures data storage devices and audio equipment. Its data storage products includ CD, DVD, flash, and floppy disk drives; instrumentation recorders; and disc printing and production equipment. TEAC America's audio products include professional audio recorders and mixers, consumer-oriented stereo and home theater equipment, and high-end audio and video components. TEAC markets its products under the TEAC, TASCAM, and Esoteric brands. TEAC America was established in 1967.
