Want to get behind the wheel of your favourite luxury car but running short of money? Don't fret; help is at hand. Luxury carmakers have come up with personalised and flexible finance options this festive season to boost sales.

According to BMW India, its finance arm BMW Financial Services currently finances/leases every second BMW sold. Most luxury car companies, including German majors Mercedes Benz India, Audi India and BMW India, have come out with tailor-made finance options as more and more luxury car buyers opting for credit.

China finds Mercedes-Benz guilty of price manipulation

German car maker Daimler AG's luxury brand division Mercedes-Benz has been found guilty of manipulating prices for after-sales services in China, the official Xinhua news agency reported, citing authorities in Jiangsu province.

An array of industries, from milk powder makers to tech firms, have been coming under the spotlight in recent years as China intensifies its efforts to bring companies into compliance with a 2008 anti-monopoly law.

New armoured Merc-Benz limo can survive blazing guns

Mercedes-Benz has announced an armoured version of its 2014-generation S-class limousine, a coachbuilt rolling vault that can withstand grenades and a machine-gun barrage.

While not the only armoured version of the car on the market, the S-600 Guard is the only one built by the Sindelfingen factory.

Where Maruti has brought in limited edition of Ritz and Ertiga, Chevrolet introduced special Manchester United Limited edition of Beat during the football fever. Renault introduced second anniversary edition of Duster, Hyundai launched Grand i10 LPG edition while Volkswagen too joined the movement and launched facelift Polo hatch. Are we missing something? Merc woos first-time luxury buyers

One out of every five Mercedes-Benz sold in India is either an ‘A Class’ or ‘B Class’. The German luxury giant is confident of growing in double digits this year, on the back of a lowered entry price for the two new hatchbacks.

Priced at Rs 25 lakh-26 lakh and launched a year ago, more than 2,500 units of the A and B Class are running on Indian roads. A major chunk of the buyers are those who have never bought a luxury car before, followed by those who already have a Mercedes car in the family.

Mercedes-Benz India today announced the local production of the new S-class 350 CDI from its manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, managing director and CEO Eberhard Kern spoke about the company's upcoming plans. The luxury car market in India registered growth even as the rest of the passenger car market skidded to its worst performance in years.
