Defenders of Furbearers, the organization that would later become Defenders of Wildlife, was founded. The fledgling organization boasted only one full-time employee and 1,500 members who made it their mission to protect coyotes and other furred animals from steel-jawed leghold traps and lethal poisons. Defenders of Wildlife employs over 150 dedicated professionals and is supported by more than 500,000 members nationwide. Our organization has evolved to take on the task of preserving our nation’s native wildlife species and habitats.

The Delaware River Port Authority of Pennsylvania and New Jersey is a regional transportation agency serving the people of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. DRPA owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry, and Betsy Ross bridges. All four bridges are part of the E-ZPass Electronic Toll Collection network. At DRPA, our goal is to provide excellent customer service both externally and internally. To that end, our employees helped to develop the following standards for customer service.
