Founded in 1881 as Cooper Paper Box, the company was acquired by the Astronics Corporation in 1972, at which time the MOD-PAC CORP. name was established. MOD-PAC CORP. engages in the design, manufacture, and printing of folding cartons, and print products in the United States and Canada. The company provides custom folding cartons for customers in the healthcare, confectionary, food and food service, and automotive industries, including private label manufacturers. It also offers stock packaging products, which comprise candy boxes and gourmet bags, and trays and other complementary items for the independent confectionary industry, as well as provides retail packaging solutions for gift retailers and general consumer applications. In addition, the company produces and markets various specialty print products, including business cards, direct mail post cards, letterhead and corporate stationery, presentation folders, booklets, and product flyers; and event-oriented products, which comprise invitations, napkins, announcements, bags, boxes, and various accessory product lines for social occasions, such as corporate events, weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, graduations, and anniversaries. Further, it offers design assistance, finishing services, fulfillment, and asset management services.
