University Community Health company is a not-for-profit network of six hospitals in Florida's Tampa Bay area. Its three general hospitals -- two located in Tampa and one in nearby Tarpon Springs -- collectively house some 720 beds and provide emergency, surgical, and acute medical care, as well as provide outpatient services. The system also includes a specialty heart hospital, a women's hospital, and a long-term acute care hospital. University Community Health's name reflects its flagship facility's proximity to the University of South Florida. The company became part of the Adventist Health System in 2010.

University Community Hospital has some 430 beds at its acute-care facility. The hospital specializes in cancer treatment, diabetes management, orthopedics, pediatrics, and women's health. It offers such outpatient services as a sleep center, same-day surgery, and home health care. Located on the the campus is the Pepin Heart Hospital and Research Institute, a state-of-the-art cardiovascular care facility. Named for its proximity to and affiliation with the University of South Florida, the University Community Hospital opened in 1968. It is part of the University Community Health system, which was acquired by Adventist Health System in 2010.

University Health Services, doing business as University Health Care System, serves the communities of some 25 counties in Georgia's Central Savannah River Area and neighboring South Carolina. The system includes University Hospital with more than 550 beds, a women's center, a cancer center, and a heart center. It operates two separate nursing care facilities with a total of 249 beds, and maintains a home health care service. University Health Link is a managed care contractor co-owned by University Health Services and a group of 440 physicians serving companies in the region.

University Health System serves the residents (and rebels) of San Antonio and the surrounding region. Its flagship facility, University Hospital, has about 500 beds and is the primary teaching facility for The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In addition to general medical and surgical care, the hospital is a designated Level 1 trauma center and offers care in a wide range of medical specialties. University Health System includes a network of primary and specialty care clinics.

University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina is an integrated non-profit health delivery system serving a 29-county area of eastern North Carolina. University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina is academically affiliated with Brody School of Medicine at Eastern Carolina University. The system is comprised of half a dozen hospitals, including the acute care Pitt County Memorial Hospital (PCMH), as well as physicians' practices and clinics, surgery centers, a home health service, and numerous community health programs. PCMH has 760 beds and a staff of 500 physicians and 1,200 nurses. University Health Systems is affiliated with East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine.
