MCGHealth System is an integrated organization serving east-central Georgia and areas of South Carolina. Its facilities include the nearly 500-bed MCGHealth Medical Center, an ambulatory care center with more than 80 outpatient practice sites, a specialized care center with a Level I trauma unit, and the MCGHealth Children's Medical Center. The health system also includes a variety of dedicated centers and units, such as the MCGHealth Sports Medicine Center. MCGHealth System is directly affiliated with the Medical College of Georgia and is a part of its academic training programs.
