National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues, Inc.

National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL), better known as Minor League Baseball, steps up to the plate as the governing body for nearly 20 leagues and about 250 teams, ranging from the Hickory Crawdads to the Durham Bulls to the Savannah Sand Gnats. Each team in the minor leagues (generally classified as either Rookie, Class A, Class Double-A, or Class Triple-A) is affiliated with a team in Major League Baseball and is part of a farm system to develop players hoping to make it to "The Show." Minor League Baseball also helps rehab major league players who've been sent down to work out any kinks and get back in game shape.
