LIAT (1974) Ltd.

LIAT would like for you to take a Dash through tropical paradise. With a fleet of about 20 Bombardier Dash 8 turboprop aircraft, the carrier transports passengers to more than 20 destinations in the Caribbean. The company expanded by buying key operating assets of former rival Caribbean Star, including additional Dash 8s. Before the acquisition was completed in 2007, LIAT and Caribbean Star had formed a commercial alliance that integrated many of their operations. Among LIAT's major shareholders are the governments of several Caribbean nations, including Antigua, Barbados, the Grenadines, and St. Vincent. LIAT took to the skies in 1956.
