Air Pacific flies passengers and cargo from Fiji to nearly 20 cities and a dozen countries. The carrier operates a fleet of Boeing 737, 747, and 767 aircraft. Air Philippines is setting its course to become the low-cost airline of choice for Asia. The carrier, an affiliate of national flag carrier Philippines Airlines, offers scheduled and charter services with about 20 destinations throughout the Philippines, as well as in South Korea and China. The airline is also approved to fly to the US, Singapore, and Japan. Established in 1995, Air Philippines officially took to the skies a year later and now operates a fleet of about 10 Boeing 737s as well as a handful of Bombardier Q300s and Q400s. Philippine tycoon Lucio Tan controls the company and also owns Philippine Airlines.

Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation (AWAC) operates as the largest privately held regional airline in the United States. Founded in 1965, AWAC schedules nearly 500 departures per day system-wide to 26 states and two Canadian provinces. With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America, AWAC carries nearly 6 million passengers per year.AWAC works in partnership with US Airways, United Airlines, and Northwest Airlines. In addition to the flying services AWAC provides while operating 70 CRJ regional jets as US Airways Express, the airline is also a ground-handler for United Express and Northwest Airlines at over 30 locations throughout the country.

Latvia's flag carrier, airBaltic serves more than 25 destinations in Europe from its hubs in Riga and Vilnius. The airline's fleet includes seven Boeing 737-500 and seven Fokker 50 aircrafts. Founded in 1995, airBaltic is 53% owned by the Latvian government. Scandinavian air group SAS AB had owned the other 47% but sold its shares in early 2009 to airBaltic's management for about $25 million. The sale comes after the Latvian government rejected a buyout offer from SAS.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) is one of Japan's leading carriers, along with Japan Airlines. With a fleet of more than 210 aircraft, ANA flies on about 130 routes in Japan and about 40 to destinations overseas. It extends its network through code-sharing, primarily with fellow members of the Star Alliance, an airline marketing partnership that includes such carriers as United Airlines and Lufthansa. (Code-sharing enables airlines to sell tickets on one another's flights and thus serve more destinations.) Besides passenger service, ANA's air transportation operations include cargo and mail hauling and aircraft maintenance and ground support. The company also sells travel packages and operates hotels.
