Don't let the mouse mascot fool you: This amusement kingdom is founded on the power of pizza. CEC Entertainment operates the Chuck E. Cheese's chain of pizza parlors with more than 540 locations throughout the US, Canada, and a half dozen other countries. The restaurants cater mostly to families with children and feature dining-room entertainment provided by robotic characters, arcade games, and other activities. (The eateries are especially popular destinations for birthday parties.) Games and merchandise account for about 50% of sales. The menu features pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. CEC Entertainment owns and operates about 500 of the pizza and fun joints, while the rest are franchised.

It wasn't like anything else and the people loved it. That slightly irreverent attitude has become our calling card over the years, doing things the way we always have regardless of convention. We're still making fresh hand-crafted burgers, roasting our own turkey and chicken, slow-basting our falling-off-the-bone-tender ribs, and hiring the friendliest people to be part of our team.The party is still going strong today. The burgers are still huge, the beer is still cold and we're the best place to watch the game. No matter what part of the country you're in, you are sure to find a neighborhood Champps nearby.

Cheeburger Cheeburger Restaurants operates and franchises more than 50 family-style eateries in about 20 states, primarily in the Southeast and along the eastern seaboard. The restaurants feature a 1950s-style interior, music, and a burger bar with more than 20 toppings. Most of the chain's locations are found in or near strip malls. Despite the similarity, Cheeburger Cheeburger is not associated with the famous Saturday Night Live skit by John Belushi ("Cheezeborger cheezeborger!") nor with that skit's inspiration, the Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago. CEO Bruce Zicari started the chain in the mid-1980s.

Chefs International operates about a dozen casual dining restaurants in New Jersey and Florida mostly doing business under the Lobster Shanty name, such as Point Pleasant Lobster Shanty, Toms River Lobster Shanty, and its flagship Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty. Other locations include Jack Baker's Wharfside & Patio Bar and The Sunset Ballroom event and banquet hall. The restaurants serve a variety of seafood dishes in a casual setting. Jack Baker, a New Jersey fisherman, opened his first Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty in 1979. Chairman Robert Lombardi and his family control the company.
