Disco Corporation

Disco Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of the specialized cutting and polishing equipment (such as wafer saws) used in semiconductor manufacturing. It also maintains, recycles, and leases the same equipment, and trains operators of it. Disco's other business is the production of precision diamond abrasive tools. The company has six offices and three plants in Japan as well as offices in fifteen other countries across the globe. It was formed in 1937 as Dai-ichi Seitosho, an abrasive tool manufacturer. Disco's tools were used to cut the first precision electricity meters for private residences.
