Jaguar is as dynamic as our name and logo suggest. We’ve always believed that a car is the closest thing you can create to something that is alive. Find out more about our award-winning approach to designing and building cars and what makes them as alive as you are.
For over 90 years we have pushed the boundaries of what is possible, inspired by our founder, Sir William Lyons. He insisted that every car the company produced combined performance and beauty like no other. His uncompromising vision set new benchmarks that we still live by.
We’re continuing that tradition with the launch of the new F-TYPE. This definitive two-seater sports car continues a revered bloodline that began with the C, D and E-Types. The latter is an enduring icon, still considered the most beautiful car in the world, it defined the market that F-TYPE is redefining today.
The Jaguar DNA is instantly recognisable across our range – there is an unmistakable purity of line that runs through all of our models. Agile and powerful; sleek and seductive; confident and instinctive: all these qualities are reflected in our cars.
Jaguar cars are built on our state-of-the-art production lines at Castle Bromwich. It’s a place of awe-inspiring craftsmanship, where hundreds of hi-tech robots and multi-million-pound machines operate in perfect synchronisation alongside thousands of highly skilled workers. And it’s up to Grant McPherson, Director of Operations, to make sure each car is perfect. “Jaguar has always stood for engineering excellence and beautiful design,” says Grant, “our role is to deliver the team's design intention, every time with every car. It’s our job to achieve a strict specification, and for me, quality is the ability to repeatedly achieve that specification. It’s that attention to detail that we instil here. We’re building luxury cars.”
