The Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA) is a premier institute for R & D in Textiles and allied Sciences, located at Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The Institute has completed over 60 years of glorious service to the textile and allied industry. BTRA aims to provide day-to-day technological inputs to the industry and meet the Science & Technological objectives set at the national level. It also provides solutions to various technical and techno-economical problems faced by the industry in a cost effective and stipulated time frame. BTRA broadly carries out four activities viz., (i) R&D – sponsored by Government agencies and private sector (ii) Shop-floor consultancy for quality/productivity improvement, etc. (iii) Testing – referral lab for third party tests and (iv) Need-based training.

Since our inception in 1983 as Arrow Webtex, we have been manufacturing Elastic and Non-Elastic Tapes. We have grown steadily and gradually, expanding our capabilities as a Garment Trim Supplier by adding Woven Labels & Printed Labels in 1992.
