Hyundai introduces Elite i20 with 6 airbags and 4-speed AT variant

Hyundai India has silently introduced the Elite i20 with 6 airbags in the top-end trim of the hatchback in both petrol and diesel engines. The Korean car manufacturer has also launched a 4-speed automatic variant of the Magna which is priced at Rs. 9.01 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Elite i20 Asta (O) with 6 airbags carries a priced tag of Rs 7.75 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi for petrol motor, while the diesel variant is priced at Rs. 8,99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The new Elite i20 AT is powered by a 1.4-litre, dual VTVT, petrol engine that develops 98 hp of maximum power and 132 Nm of peak torque, paired to a 4-speed torque converter unit. The Asta (O) has no changes and gets 1.2 L, Kappa, dual VTVT petrol unit mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Magna AT is offered with other safety equipment such as ABS, rear camera with sensors and dual airbags. The car also gets an infotainment system with a touchscreen display and Bluetooth connectivity. The carmaker has also equipped the Elite i20 Magna AT with alloy wheels, seatbelt height adjustment, multifunction steering wheel and flip key.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday pulled up the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority for inaction in the misleading advertisements case involving Patanjali Ayurved Limited.

Microsoft will invest $1.7 billion over the next four years into expanding cloud services and artificial intelligence in Indonesia, including building data centres, visiting chief executive Satya Nadella said on Tuesday.

JNK India stock made a strong market debut on Tuesday with its shares getting listed at Rs 621, a 50 per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 415 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Post listing, the stock moved to an intraday high of Rs 665, 60 per cent up over issue price.
At 10:02 am, JNK India stock was trading at Rs 651, 57 per cent higher than issue price, with around 6.19 million equity shares changing hands on the NSE, data shows.
