Lanco Infratech board to consider compulsory convertible debentures issuance next week

NEW DELHI: Lanco Infratech Ltd today said the board will meet next week to consider the proposal for issuing compulsory convertible debentures (CCDs).
"A meeting of the board of directors of the company will be held on December 30, 2015, inter alia, to consider the proposal for issuance of Compulsory Convertible Debentures (CCDs) through preferential issue not exceeding 35 crore CCDs of Rs 10 each and seek shareholders' approval for the same," Lanco Infratech said in a regulatory filing.
"Further, as per the company's code of conduct framed under the Securities Exchange Board of India ( Prohibition of insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, the trading window for dealing in the equity shares of the company shall remain closed from December 25, 2015 to January 1, 2016 (both days inclusive)," the filing said.
The trading window shall reopen on January 2, 2016," it added.

Air India has entered into a codeshare partnership with Japan's All Nippon Airways.
With the codeshare, effective for travel from May 23, Air India and All Nippon Airways passengers can fly to their desired destination by combining those flights between India and Japan with a single ticket.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday staged a dharna here protesting against the delay in release of drought relief funds by the Centre and criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah over the issue.
Siddaramaiah said the protest -- held in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue on the premises of Vidhana Soudha which houses the Legislature and State Secretariat -- was aimed at drawing public attention towards the "injustice" done to Karnataka and its people by the BJP-led government at the Centre.

The solution can handle up to 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), and enables five times faster access to Unified Payments Interface (UPI) innovations for businesses, the company said.
