Drug firm Alembic Pharmaceuticals on Monday said it has received tentative approval from the US health regulator for Palbociclib capsules, used to treat a certain type of breast cancer.

The approved product is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product lbrance Capsules of Pfizer Inc.

L&T Finance Holdings on Monday said its board has approved raising of up to Rs 3,000 crore through a rights issue.

The board approved the offer and issuance of fully paid-up equity shares of the company for an amount not exceeding Rs 3,000 crore by way of a rights issue to the eligible equity shareholders of the company, L&T Finance Holdings said in a regulatory filing.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Monday imposed a complete ban against sale or use of all kinds of firecrackers in Delhi NCR from midnight today till November 30 in wake of rising air pollution and coronavirus cases. The ban will kick in from midnight of November 9-10 to midnight of November 30, 2020.

A bench of the NGT, headed by its chairperson Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, directed that the order will also apply to all cities and towns in the country where the average of ambient air quality during November (as per available data of last year) falls under 'poor' or worse category.
