Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav called on Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Friday and held a detailed discussion about energy requirements for Indian Railways.

Union Minister Vaishnaw highlighted that Indian Railways would receive 170 MW of solar energy from Madhya Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday approved the constitution of the eighth Pay Commission for the central government employees, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw told reporters during the cabinet briefing. “The term of the last Pay Commission will end in 2026. Establishing the 8th Pay Commission well before 2025 will give us sufficient time to get the recommendations,” Vaishnaw said.
