The construction of the Ram temple here is likely to be completed months before the deadline, an office bearer of the Sriram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said on Friday.

"We are confident that the temple will be completed three months before the due date. So we have advanced the deadline from December 2023 to September 2023. Now, the temple will get it's final shape in September," in-charge of trust's office at Ram Janambhoomi Prakash Gupta said.

A city court on Friday extended the ED custody by five days of senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia, arrested in a money laundering case related to the excise policy, saying the physical custody of the accused appeared necessary for his further effective interrogation.

Special judge M K Nagpal allowed the anti-money laundering agency to interrogate the former Delhi deputy chief minister in custody till March 22. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had sought Sisodia's custody for seven days.

PhonePe, one of India's largest fintech platforms, on Friday said it has raised an additional $200 million (around Rs 1,649 crore) in primary capital from Walmart, at a pre-money valuation of $12 billion.

This new funding comes as a part of PhonePe's ongoing fundraise of up to $1 billion in capital, following its domicile shift to India last year. With this tranche, the company has raised $650 million (around Rs 5,360 crore) from several global investors, PhonePe said in a statement.

Top Indian information technology firms Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys have the highest exposure to regional banks in the United States that are gripped by a financial turmoil, analysts at J.P.Morgan said on Friday.

Regional banks in the United States account for 2-3% of their revenue, J.P. Morgan said in a note, adding that the exposure to the recently collapsed Silicon Valley Bank could be 10-20 basis points for TCS, Infosys and smaller rival LTIMindtree, with the Tata group company in the lead.

Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of unlimited data for subscribers availing its 5G plus services, currently live in over 270 cities. The move comes days after Reliance Jio introduced a new set of postpaid family plans called Jio Plus at Rs 399 per month.

All postpaid customers and those prepaid customers with a data plan of Rs 239 and above will be able to avail of the offer, Airtel said in a release on Friday.
