US President Donald Trump has suggested that Ukraine "may be Russian someday," casting doubt on the future independence of the nation, which has been defending itself against Russia's full-scale invasion for nearly three years with Western support, CNN reported, citing the US President's interview with Fox News.

The comments were made ahead of a meeting between Trump's Vice President, JD Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, scheduled for this week.

Foreign nationals entering India without a valid passport or visa may soon face imprisonment of up to five years and fines reaching Rs 5 lakh.
