Modi inaugurated the new VaishaliDeoria railway line project, built at a cost of over ₹400 crore, and flagged off a new train service on this route.

The Bombay High Court has upheld arbitral awards worth over ₹538 crore in favour of the now-defunct Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Kochi Tuskers Kerala. The ruling comes more than a decade after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) terminated the franchise’s contract, citing a breach of agreement, reported Bar and Bench.

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday announced the introduction of a FASTag-based Annual Pass.

The pass, which will be priced at ₹3,000, is being introduced to promote hassle-free highway travel and will come into effect starting August 15. Gadkari made the announcement on X. Sharing additional details, he added that the pass will be valid for a year from the date of activation or up to 200 trips, whichever comes first.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday conveyed a clear and firm message to US President Donald Trump that India does not and will not accept any form of mediation in its bilateral matters with Pakistan.
