Bajaj Finance has set the base price for its Rs 8,800 crore qualified institutional placement (QIP) at Rs 7,250 per share, said investment banking sources.

The base price is nearly 4 per cent lower than the floor price of Rs 7,534 as per the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) formula and also the last close. Shares of Bajaj Finance last closed at Rs 7,560, up 1.9 per cent.

Drugmaker Zydus Lifesciences Limited on Monday announced that it has received the final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its New Drug Application (NDA) for Zituvimet to treat adult patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus. Zituvimet is composed of sitagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, and metformin hydrochloride (HCl), a biguanide, indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type-2 diabetes mellitus.

Air India will introduce over 400 new weekly flights during the upcoming winter season, with approximately 50 per cent of the flights serving international destinations, the airline’s chief executive office and managing director Campbell Wilson said on Friday.
