ONGC was planning to start gas production here from April 2018. Oil production is slated to begin after that.

The Plan is available from ages 8-59 and a choice of policy term of 16 years, 21 years, 25 years with premium paying term of 10 years, 15 years and 16 years respectively. The Maximum age at maturity is 75 years.

IT major Wipro Technologies today announced Abid Ali Neemuchwala as the new CEO of the company. His appointment will be effective from February 1, 2016. Neemuchwala is based in Dallas, US.

Neemuchwala joined Wipro as its group president and chief operating officer from its bigger rival Tata Consultancy Services Ltd in April last year.

State Bank of India (SBI), Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) were three companies from the 30 share S&P BSE Sensex which touched their respective 52-week lows as the market recorded biggest single day fall in four months.

The S&P BSE Sensex tumbled 2.05% or 534 points to close at 25,627, its sharpest single day fall since September 22, 2015, due to the weak Chinese manufacturing data. The Nifty50 plunged 171 points to end at 7,793.

At last, at last, at last. Ford is finally adopting Apple’s CarPlay and Android Auto for its in-car infotainment system, so the carmaker announced ahead of the CES event in Las Vegas this week.

We reviewed Ford Sync 3, the third iteration of the company’s connected car technology, last year, and that system will soon include support for both Google and Apple’s in-car platforms. Ford revealed that all 2017 vehicles equipped will Sync 3 will gain the support, while its 2016 Sync 3 vehicles will get an upgrade option later this year. That means iPhone owners can access Siri, Apple Maps and more, while those with Android Auto compatible devices get the Google services suit.

BENGALURU/MUMBAI: Tata Consultancy Services, which ended initial talks with Dell for its Perot IT business after a disagreement over price, is back at the table and is locked in a bidding war with rivals such as US-based Cognizant, three people familiar with the negotiations said.

"TCS left when the asking price was too high. But over past two weeks there has been more movement on price from Dell. They still have not agreed on a price," said one of the people with direct knowledge of the talks.

The proposed regulatory moves follow the Amtek Auto fiasco and a growing number of loan defaults triggering downgrade or suspension of ratings without the same being properly communicated to investors.

Nasscom has shared its perspectives on issues related to differential pricing for data services in a statement today. The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) states that the matter needs to be considered carefully to study the possible impact on the principles of Net Neutrality.

Nasscom reiterated its position that any tariff plan should not restrict right for the consumer to choose. It also added that data services should allow innovation without permission and should have no differential data charges for different apps.

Ashok Leyland shares gain over 3 per cent as Dec sales rise 31.4 per cent

Ashok Leyland share price gained as much as 3.6 per cent on Monday after the Hinduja Group flagship company on Saturday reported a 31.4 per cent increase in total sales at 12,209 units in December 2015.

At 10.34 am, share price of the company was trading 3.15 per cent up at Rs 91.55. The scrip opened at Rs 90.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs 92.00 and Rs 90.20, respectively, in trade so far. Sensex was trading 258.28 points down at 25,902.62.
