Plasma therapy for COVID-19 at experimental stage, using it for treatment without approval illegal, says Centre

The Centre on Tuesday said the use if plasma therapy without approval from the relevant authority can not only be harmful to the patient but also illegal.

Speaking during Tuesday's joint press briefing, Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, said plasma therapy is not approved and must not be used to treat COVID-19 patients.

US: Pentagon officially releases UFO videos, show 'unidentified aerial phenomena'

The Pentagon on Monday released three previously classified videos in which US Navy pilots can be seen encountering what appears to be unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

According to Pentagon, the videos, which are not of very good quality, depict unexplained aerial phenomena and these were previously leaked. The Pentagon said it released the footage to to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos, a statement on the Department of Defense website said.

Hours after the Indian Council of Medical Research issued an advisory to the states to stop using the Rapid Antibody Test kits from two Chinese firms, Tamil Nadu has returned as many as 24,000 such kits.

Earlier today, the ICMR issued a revised advisory and said that the states should avoid using the Rapid Antibody Blood tests that were procured from Guangzhou Wondfo Biotech and Zhuhai Livzon Diagnostics.
