Sushant Singh Rajput: Autopsy reports confirm suicide, last rites to be held in Mumbai today

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on Sunday after an apparent battle with depression. He was 34-years-old and hanged himself, he was found in his Bandra residence, police confirmed. His body was yesterday taken to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital for post mortem. Reports state that the post-mortem has now been completed and the autopsy report has said prima facie it has been found that it is a case of suicide.

Hit badly by the lower crude oil price, state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has sought a price assurance of $45 a barrel from the government. Owing to the lockdown and Covid-19 impact, the company has also cut its capital expenditure by over 15 per cent or Rs 5,000 crore for 2020-21.

The largest domestic oil and gas producer had budgeted a capex of Rs 32,502 crore for the financial year, which has now been cut to around Rs 27,500 crore.

At 9:30 AM on this day, the COVID-19 tally in the country has reached 3,08,993 cases, which includes 1,45,779 active cases; 1,54,330 cured, discharged, or migrated patients, and 8,884 deaths.
