S. B. Foot Tanning Co. company, founded by Silas B. Foot, is a tannery that offers products made from cow hides. A subsidiary of Red Wing Shoe Company, the firm uses cattle hides sourced in the US to make leather items. Its primary products include such as items as camouflage, upholstery, and footwear. Superior to cloth and canvas, S. B. Foot Tanning's camouflage-pattern leather is in demand by sportsmen, while its natural, polished full-grain leather is used to make upscale upholstery (chairs and couches). The Ferragamo shoe line still generates most of its sales, while handbags, belts, luggage, and small leather goods account for another large chunk of revenue. The company, which also got into watches in 2007 and eyewear in 2009, distributes its products through more than 450 department stores and boutiques in some 60 countries.

The world's #1 luggage maker, Samsonite makes softside and hardside suitcases, garment bags, and business cases under brand names such as Samsonite and American Tourister. The company also licenses its name for non-luggage products and dabbles in designer clothing. Samsonite makes travel gear (backpacks, duffel bags, wheeled luggage) for Timberland through a licensing agreement. It sells its products in more than 100 countries and through about 200 stores. Private equity firm CVC Capital Partners owns a majority stake in the ailing luggage maker.

Saucony wants to be the sole provider to athletes young and old. Best known for its performance running shoes under the Saucony name, the company also sells shoes for walking, cross-training, and hiking. The manufacturer, founded in 1898, also sells Saucony Originals vintage designs. Saucony's products are sold through parent Stride Rite's wholesale segment, which overall sells to 8,000 customers in about 70 countries and territories, alongside its other brands Keds and Sperry Top-Sider. Stride Rite, which boasts domestic and international license agreements as well, added Saucony to its shoe portfolio in late 2005 for approximately $170 million in cash.
