Intimas Group gives Nottingham one more claim to fame. A lace manufacturer until 2004, Intimas makes and markets women's lingerie, nightwear, and swimwear. It produces private-label garments for others under the Lepel, DM, Charnos Lingerie, and Ted Baker Intimates names. It has made a full line of lingerie, swimwear, and nightwear through a licensing agreement with Ted Baker for sale within the UK and Ireland. Shortly after collapsing into administration (the equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the US), Intimas was acquired by textiles manufacturer Linwood Fabrics in 2009.

IT Holding went into administration, the Italian equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, in February 2009 soon after its Ittierre subsidiary did the same.

Ivory International, Inc. company, formerly named Trends International, was founded in 1989. It merged operations with Ivory International in 2005. Ivory International designs, makes, and distributes men's and women's clothing, as well as children's and junior's apparel, for leading US retailers. Its lines have carried such labels as B.U.M. Equipment, Jimmy Z, Lee, l.e.i., and Trendy Kidz. The company has also produced junior apparel under license for the Ocean Pacific and Ecko Unlimited brands. Collections are sold through major department stores (such as J. C. Penney), mass merchants, and specialty retailers.
