A modular construction and construction management services company, Warrior Group builds permanent modular buildings--including military dormitories, student housing, and office buildings--from prefabricated wood and metal components. Its construction management services consist of planning, design, purchasing, engineering, and post-construction services. In recent years, the company has worked on projects for the Veterans Administration in Marion, Illinois; built barracks at Fort Bliss and other military installations; and managed a construction project at the University of North Texas. Warrior Group was founded in 1997 by CEO Gail Warrior-Lawrence.

Ultraframe (UK) Ltd., offers custom-designed conservatories for homes and businesses. It constructs conservatories from glass, metal, and wood, in a range of styles, including Victorian, Georgian, Lantern, Orangery, and Mediterranean. Options include glass or polycarbonate roof panels, ceiling fans, decorative cresting and finials, and other features. Metal buildings can cost up to 30% less to build than more traditional fare; glass, brick, stone, and concrete elements can be incorporated. VP Buildings also provides design and engineering services throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Australia's BlueScope Steel bought VP Buildings from Ternium in 2008.

Viceroy Homes Limited designs and manufactures modular, panelized, pre-engineered custom home packages for both owner/builder clients and professional contractors. Its packages, which include all materials needed to construct a home (doors, windows, flooring), are sold throughout North America and also are shipped around the world. Viceroy constructs what is called a "healthy house" (built with products free of formaldehyde and other solvents). The company, which was founded in the mid-1950s, operates manufacturing plants in Ontario and British Columbia. In 2008 the company was taken private by Open Investments (OPIN) of Russia.

Wick Building Systems, Inc. specializes in prefabricated metal structures and roofing. Hit by the decline in the housing market, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in late 2009 and, as part of its restructuring, shut down its modular homes business and sold the intellectual rights to its Artcraft, Marshfield, and Rollohome product lines to All American Group. The company, which emerged from bankruptcy in early 2010, continues to operate its Wick Buildings unit, whose products include metal warehouses, garages, barns, stables, sheds, churches, restaurants, retail outlets, and commercial, light industrial, and municipal facilities.
