Pridgeon & Clay (P&C) rivals the metal forming industry. An independent manufacturer and supplier of stamped and fine blanked components, the company designs and produces an array of parts for auto assembly plants across the US. Its made-in-the-US (China and Hungary, too) lineup includes steering column lock nuts, brackets for headlights to engines, control arms, flanges, exhaust parts, and muffler shields. Stamping equipment runs from fine blanking presses to high tonnage and progressive presses. P&C touts hand assembly, spot welding, and tapping services, along with a global sales force. Founded in 1948, the company is led by the son of its co-founder, Donald Clay.
