The other half is owned by Grafton Resources Investment Trust, which retains the option to sell its stake to Canada Gold by 2012. Now under construction, the facility is scheduled to begin operations by the end of 2010; it's located in northern Peru and would be the first of its kind in the mineral-rich area. Canada Gold changed its name from Metalquest Minerals after buying Canadian Ore Processors.
