Silver Lake Cookie Company is recognized throughout the baking industry as the “Quality Leader” since 1965. A retail store was established at this location called “Mr. Cookie.” It wasn’t long before continued growth made another move necessary. In 1978 a 35,000 square foot building on Sunrise Highway in Amityville became the next location. Over the next few years another 4,000 square feet were added to the building. For more space two buildings around the corner were rented. But by 1986 the company again outgrew its facilities.
