Albion College

The college offers Bachelor of Arts in about 30 subjects and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in art and art history. It employs some 130 full-time faculty members and has an enrollment of almost 2,000. Albion can trace its roots to 1835 when early Methodist settlers of the Michigan Territory worked to get the college a charter from the Michigan Territorial Legislature. Notable alumni include chairman and editor-in-chief of Newsweek magazine Richard Smith and Broadway producer Michael David, founder of Dodger Theatricals.
