Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is the apex Industry body representing 35 leading vehicle and vehicular engine manufacturers in India. SIAM is an important channel of communication for the Automobile Industry with the Government, National and International organisations. The Society works closely withy all the concerned stake holders and actively participates in formulation of rules, regulations and policies related to the Automobile Industry. The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), India's premier apex chamber covers a membership of over 100,000 companies and professionals across the country. As an apex industry body, ASSOCHAM represents the interests of industry and trade, interfaces with Government on policy issues and interacts with counterpart international organizations to promote bilateral economic issues. ASSOCHAM is represented on all national and local bodies and is, thus, able to pro-actively convey industry viewpoints, as also communicate and debate issues relating to public-private partnerships for economic development.

The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry was started in 1917 as a Chamber of Commerce representing the entire old State of Hyderabad. That State included parts of present Karnataka, Maharashtra as well as all the Telugu speaking Districts of the old Nizam’s dominions. The year 1956 saw the formation of Andhra Pradesh and in 1958, its name was changed to 'The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry'. It started functioning with representation from the entire state. It gradually evolved into an organization representing large, medium and small scale industries. It also represented wholesale, retail and small trade organizations. It consists of public, private, joint and corporate sectors. With about 150 other Chambers and Associations at State, District, Mandal levels affiliated to it. FAPCCI has 3513 members on its rolls. Its indirect membership through its affiliates covers a broad spectrum of industries and trade organizations.
