S/O Satyamurthy is an upcoming Telugu family drama written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
The film produced by D. V. V. Danayya and S. Radha Krishna on Haarika & Haasine Creations banner.
The film features an ensemble cast of Allu Arjun, Upendra, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sneha, Adah Sharma, Nithya Menen and Rajendra Prasad.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film.
The film was launched officially on 10 April 2014 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
The principal photography commenced on 22 September 2014 at Hyderabad.
Trivikram Srinivas planned to direct Allu Arjun in a film produced by S. Radha Krishna on Haarika & Haasine Creations who produced the duo's previous collaboration Julai (2012) as Trivikram gave them a commitment to do another film with them.
The film was officially launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on 10 April 2014 at 11:06 AM. In June 2014.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu was selected as the heroine of the film which marked her first collaboration with Allu Arjun.
Adah Sharma and Nithya Menen were selected as the other two female leads.
M. S. Narayana was cast for a supporting role in the film and he passed away after most of his portions were complete.
This film was considered an image makeover for Allu Arjun.He underwent hard training for new style of fight sequences and hired a popular gymnast to learn flips, somersaults and other gymnastic skills in order to make the stunts done by him look realistic.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 2 April 2015.
