The festive season has arrived in India and in much style. The latest car to add its name to the list of this year's festive season launches is the Volkswagen Vento Facelift.
Volkswagen Vento comes in following 8 versions with 3 engine and 2 transmission and 2 fuel options.
The most important change on the facelift is the addition of the new 1.5-litre diesel engine, the stripped down version of the old 1.6-litre diesel motor.
It features greater number of comfort and safety equipment enhancements as compared to the earlier version.
The Vento facelift also sports a handful of cosmetic changes, including new head-lamps, bumper, and new 15-inch alloys.
Whereas, the rear also gets a modified bumper and tail-lights. Inside, the new Vento gets a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel and piano-black finish and audio and telephony controls among other provisions.
All the new Vento variants have been fitted with dual front airbags and it sits on redesigned 15-inch alloy wheels.
The 1.5 TDI diesel engine is mated to Volkswagen's 7-speed DSG, with dual clutch system.
This gearbox enables seamless acceleration at various speeds, thereby providing good fuel economy.
The Volkswagen Vento has comfortable seats with good back support and has a seating capacity of 5 passengers.
Vento is available with three engine options, namely 1.6 MPI, 1.2 TSI and 1.5 TDI, 2 petrol and 1 diesel, respectively.
