The exterior of Bolt features new front fascia, re-designed tail-lamp cluster and repositioned number plate on boot-lid.

The side profile seems more promising with bold character lines that runs through the entire body up to the end, giving Bolt a flagship Tata look along with a slight hint of sportiness.

This new design is been incorporated with the help of European design studio where artists worked really hard to give the car a new look with roots attached to Tata's basic design concept.

The vehicle is made available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims and under the hood of gasoline model, power is generated by the company's latest development, Revotron petrol engine.

Front headlamps are elongated to give it a sleek look, while at the rear, the company has fitted small and conventional tail lamp cluster in place of large Christmas lighting design.

Latest features that one might find in the car are rear automatic wiper and LED brake light at the top of rear view glass.

Inside the cabin, the car looks more spacious which comes from the better use of space management technology.

The new dashboard uses a fine quality of plastic and is fitted with minimum joints and bolts.

The advance feature that Bolt in-houses is Electric Power Steering (EPS) developed by ZF. The EPS are said to be much lighter than the hydraulic assisted steering wheel thus adding much need ease to driver, as the Tata cars are believed to be a tough notch during cutting a corner.

The car now features ABS, EBD, dual airbags and side intrusion beams among many others. Bolt is put against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo and Nissan Micra.

The hatch carries first in class 5-inch touch screen infotainment system powered by Harman audio system and turbocharged Revotron petrol engine.
