Maruti Suzuki launches limited edition WagonR Avance at Rs 4.30 lakh

Maruti Suzuki on Thursday launched a limited edition model of the WagonR, the WagonR Avance at a starting price of Rs 4.30 lakh.
Aimed at cashing in on the festive season, Maruti Suzuki has launched the WagonR Avance in two variants -- LXi Petrol and LXi CNG. The limited edition car will be available in three colours -- Superior Whilte, Glistening Grey and Silky Silver.
On the outside, the limited edition model gets stylish body graphics, a roof rail in new gunmetal colour, central locking with keyless entry and security alarm and a back door spoiler.
Inside, the limited edition model gets a double-DIN stereo with Bluetooth, a dual-tone dashboard with a new beige colour, and rear power windows.
The LXi petrol is at Rs 4.3 lakh, while the LXi CNG is at Rs 4.83 lakh.
Vinay Pant, Head of Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India said, “In celebration of the festive season we are happy to introduce WagonR Avance with a host of smart new features. We are confident this will help us strengthen the brand.”
Following the launch, Maruti Suzuki shares hit an intraday high of Rs 4,307.10, up Rs 7.50 or 0.17%

China is gearing up to launch a robotic spacecraft on a mission to bring back samples from the dark side of the moon. This mission is prelude to three challenging missions aimed at achieving a Chinese crewed landing and establishing a base on the lunar South pole. And it will also be the world's first attempt at collecting samples from the other side of the moon.
Since the inaugural Chang’s mission in 2007, named after the legendary Chinese moon goddess, China has made substantial strides in its lunar exploration efforts, narrowing the technological divide with the United States and Russia.

The Japanese yen hit its weakest levels since April 1990 on Monday, in trading thinned by a holiday in Japan and attempts by traders to test key levels and stop-loss orders in a nervous, illiquid market.
The dollar rose as far as 160.245 yen in a sudden move after the yen traded in a narrow 158.05-158.15 range in early deals.
