IL&FS Transportation gets 2 orders worth Rs 4,174 crore from NHAI

Infrastructure company IL&FS Transportation Networks today said its subsidiaries have signed two agreements with NHAI worth Rs 4,173.92 crore for four-laning two sections of NH-6 in Maharashtra.
“The concession agreement for development of 4-laning of Fagne-Gujarat/Maharashtra Border (Package-III) section of NH-6 in the State of Maharashtra from 510 km to 650.79 km has been signed by Fagne Songadh Expressway Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI),” IL&FS Transportation said in a BSE filing.
It further said: “The concession agreement for development of 4-laning of Amravati-Chikhli (Package-I) section of NH-6 in the state of Maharashtra from 166 km to 360 km has been signed by Amravati Chikli Expressway Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company with National Highways Authority of India.”.
IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd said the estimated cost of the projects are Rs 1,885.74 crore and Rs 2,288.18, crore respectively.
Both the projects were signed on September 08, 2015 on Build Operate Transfer basis (BOT) basis and the projects are on toll basis with a concession period of 19 years including construction period of 910 days.
IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd Shares were trading at Rs 92.35, up 4.76 per cent from previous close on BSE.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday pulled up the Uttarakhand State Licensing Authority for inaction in the misleading advertisements case involving Patanjali Ayurved Limited.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the explanation offered by the body, a bench of Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah observed it appeared that the licensing authority got activated to take action in accordance with the law only after the apex court's April 10 order.

Microsoft will invest $1.7 billion over the next four years into expanding cloud services and artificial intelligence in Indonesia, including building data centres, visiting chief executive Satya Nadella said on Tuesday.

JNK India stock made a strong market debut on Tuesday with its shares getting listed at Rs 621, a 50 per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 415 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Post listing, the stock moved to an intraday high of Rs 665, 60 per cent up over issue price.
At 10:02 am, JNK India stock was trading at Rs 651, 57 per cent higher than issue price, with around 6.19 million equity shares changing hands on the NSE, data shows.
