German car maker Mercedes-Benz will recall 150 imported vehicles in China on July 31 to fix a fuse problem, according to the country's top quality supervisor.
All the recalled vehicles belong to GLA, A and B series, manufactured in September 2014.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement that the affected cars may have fuses that have been incorrectly installed in the passenger-side interior fuse boxes, state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.
In extreme cases, the fuses may malfunction and pose safety hazards.
Mercedes-Benz dealers will inspect the vehicles and replace faulty parts free of charge.
