Ahmedabad-based Torrent Pharmaceuticals has sought fair trade regulator CCI's clearance to acquire a majority stake in in J B Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals in a Rs 19,500-crore deal.

After the completion of the deal, Torrent Pharmaceuticals will become India's second most valued pharma company.

More than 20 schools in Delhi have received bomb threat emails today, news agency ANI reported, citing Delhi police officials.

It was earlier reported that two schools received bomb threat emails on Friday morning. Richmond Global School in the Paschim Vihar area of Delhi and Abhinav Public School in Rohini Sector 3. Delhi police and fire department officials reached the spot, a Delhi Fire Service official said.

The White House on Thursday (local time) denied reports that US President Donald Trump would visit Pakistan in September, saying no such trip was planned “at this time”.
