Idea takes on Airtel, Vodafone, offers 1.5 GB data for this small amount

Telecom operator Idea has come up with a new prepaid offer. Just like other telecos Airtel, Reliance Jio coming up with prepaid plans in the Rs 300-Rs 400 range, now Idea is looking to get some traction in this popular segment. Idea’s latest prepaid plan specially caters to internet data users who have excessive amounts of needs. Along with the data, outgoing calls and SMSes are also offered free in this prepaid plan.
As per Idea’s official website, the plan offers 1.5 GB daily data along with unlimited local and STD calls and free-roaming outgoing calls. However, the outgoing calls must be made on the Idea Cellular network. The plan also offers free SMSes up to a daily limit of 100 (local and STD both). The plan is valid for 28 days. One can recharge the plan online or alternatively, you can self-recharge by dialling *150*357. The plan has some other benefits also such as 100% cashback offer an additional one GB free internet data on recharge through ‘My Idea’ App and the Idea’s official website. In November, Idea Cellular had brought a special plan for subscribers in Delhi NCR. Priced at Rs 498, the plan provided the same offers but with 1GB data per day, free calling, 100 SMSes. However, in the special plan, users in Delhi NCR got a longer validity of 70 days.
A few days ago, Vodafone announced a new data offer for its subscribers in the same lines. Under the new recharge plan, Vodafone is offering 2GB data per day. The new Vodafone plan is priced at Rs 348. Notably, the offer is currently available only for subscribers in Delhi NCR region. The validity period of the Vodafone tariff is 28 days. Under the Vodafone Rs 348 recharge pack, subscribers can avail unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls.
Airtel too joined the league much earlier announcing a Rs 349 prepaid recharge offer. This deal is offering 2GB data per day for a period of 28 days. This offer comes with unlimited local and STD call benefits along with unlimited roaming incoming, outgoing calls. Users can also get unlimited local and national SMS. Reliance Jio also provides two close offers available under Rs 400. Under the Jio Rs 309 and Rs 399 recharge plans, users can avail 1GB of data per day. The Rs 309 plan has a validity period of 49 days and the Rs 399 offer is valid for 70 days. Users also get free local, STD roaming voice calls to all providers and unlimited SMS as well.

Former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia approached the high court on Thursday seeking bail in the corruption and money-laundering cases lodged by the CBI and the ED respectively in relation to the alleged excise policy scam.
The bail pleas are scheduled for hearing before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma on Friday.
Sisodia approached the high court after a trial court refused to grant him bail in the matter on April 30.

Six Adani Group firms have come under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) lens and have received show-cause notices for alleged breaches in related party transactions and non-compliance with listing regulations, said the companies in their regulatory filings to the stock exchanges.
Among these, Adani Enterprises, the flagship of Gautam Adani's business empire, disclosed the receipt of two show-cause notices during the quarter ending on March 31.

Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and investment management company KKR have made investments in Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL) warehousing assets, in a transaction valued at Rs 12,864 crore ($1.5 billion), according to a report in The Economic Times (ET).
This investment is separate from the infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) established by RRVL last year, which was intended to accommodate approximately half of its retail warehousing assets.

The Reserve Bank of India's decision to lift curbs on Bajaj Finance's two products, earlier than expected, sent the stock on a tear. Bajaj Finance stock soared 7.5 per cent to Rs 7,400 in Friday's intraday trade as against 0.6 per cent rise in the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex. This was the stock's biggest single-day rally in three years.
Bajaj Finance stock had hit a record high of Rs 8,190 on October 6, 2023.
