'I regret, apologise': Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Manipur violence

Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh on Tuesday apologised for the ongoing violence in the state, promising that normalcy will be restored in 2025.

“This entire year has been very unfortunate. I want to say sorry to the people of the state for what's happening till today since last May 3. Many people lost their loved ones. Many people left their homes. I feel regret. I apologise. But now, I hope after seeing the last three to four months progress towards the peace, I believe by 2025, the normalcy will be restored in the state," the chief minister said.

AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday launched the Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana, registering the priest of Marghat Wale Baba temple near Kashmiri Gate ISBT here.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) cautioned in its bi-annual Financial Stability Report (FSR) that borrowers with unsecured loans, such as credit cards and personal loans, who also have larger secured loans, risk triggering delinquencies in the secured loans if they default on the smaller ones. Default in any loan category results in other loans of the same borrower being treated as non-performing by the lending financial institution.
