Tiger Global is in talks to acquire a stake in Indian Premier League's team Rajasthan Royals, making its foray into one of the biggest sports leagues in the world, The Economic Times (ET) reported on Monday.

It said that the investment firm is likely to invest $40 million in the franchise at a valuation of $650 million. In the sports economy, Tiger Global has already invested in India's Dream Sports, which owns the fantasy gaming platform Dream 11.

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal(NCLAT) is set to pass orders on the plea by four lessors of Go First against the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Delhi order admitting the airline’s insolvency plea.

The order on Monday would decide if lessors are allowed to take possession of the aircraft or if the planes remain under the airline's control.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday announced the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 currency notes from circulation. The existing notes in circulation could either be deposited in bank accounts or exchanged by September 30, the RBI said in a statement.

The bank notes in Rs 2,000 denomination would continue to be a legal tender, the RBI statement said.

RuPay and JCB announced the third phase of a limited-time cashback campaign for all RuPay JCB Debit and Credit Cardholders. During the offer period, customers using a RuPay JCB Card will receive 40 per cent cashback on purchases made at retail stores in the UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, and Spain. Suzlon Energy Limited has secured an order to set up 23 wind turbines with a rated capacity of 3 MW each, the company informed the BSE in its filing dated May 19. Suzlon has received this order from a leading Nordic Energy Company.

This is Suzlon's fourth such order in less than a month. Previously, Suzlon had informed about the wind energy project orders it had received from Vibrant Energy, Juniper Green Energy, and First Energy.
