Union Home Minister Amit Shah will convene an all-party meeting on June 24 in the national capital to discuss the situation in Manipur, Home Ministry Spokesperson said on Wednesday.

The meeting is scheduled at 3 pm in New Delhi to discuss the situation in Manipur.

5G subscriptions in India are expected to reach about 700 million by the end of 2028 from 10 million at the end of 2022, a report released on Thursday said. At the end of the next five years, 5G will account for 57 per cent of all mobile subscriptions in India, making it the fastest-growing region for the adoption of this technology, it added.

According to the June 2023 Ericsson Mobility Report, currently, 4G dominates the market in India with 820 million subscriptions at the end of 2022. But this is expected to decline to 500 million by the end of 2028.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and its arm -- NSE Clearing (NCL) -- has agreed to pay a total of Rs 72.6 crore to settle the case pertaining to the February 2021 trading glitch, which had halted trading at the country’s largest bourse for nearly four hours.

White House National Security Council (NSC) Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said on Tuesday said that it is up to India to decide to buy Russian oil and hoped that India will continue to buy Russian oil in keeping within the price cap.

Speaking on the price cap on Russian oil, Kirby said, "The price cap is working and proven effective. It's working and we are gratified to see that. It is up to India to decide and we hope that India will continue to buy oil in keeping within the price cap."
