Small pvt banks to opt for white-label ATM to reduce cost

In a bid to grow the distribution network while keeping costs under check, smaller private sector banks are looking at reducing the dependence on their own automated teller machines (ATMs) and instead relying on white-label ATM (WLA) network.

Thrissur-based Catholic Syrian Bank, which is in the process of restructuring, is planning expansion. It is likely to go for white-label ATMs for this purpose.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Tuesday announced the launch of the new Corolla Altis. The 11th generation of the Corolla is available in five grades in petrol and in four grades in diesel.

The new model has a 1.8l Dual VVTi petrol engine and is also available with a seven-speed sequential shiftmatic with the new “paddle shift”. The petrol variant is also available with six-speed manual transmission. The diesel variant is available with a 1.4 l 1ND D-4D engine with variable nozzle turbo and intercooler with six-speed manual transmission.
