Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday set a deadline by which North Korea must denuclearise, saying that the process must be completed by January 2021, when President Donald Trump's current term would end.

In a statement, Pompeo also expressed his desire to meet with his North Korean counterpart, Ri Yong-ho, next week in New York during the United Nations General Assembly, Efe reported.

The BSE Sensex rebounded over 100 points in opening trade Wednesday on value-buying in recently battered stocks amid strength in the rupee and positive global cues. The 30-share BSE index recovered by 142.26 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 37,432.93 in opening trade.
