Reliance Jio continued to top the average 4G download speed chart, beating its nearest rival Airtel with almost double data speed, according to a report by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) for January.

Jio’s 4G network registered an average download speed of 18.8 megabits per second (Mbps), while Airtel network clocked a speed of 9.5 Mbps.

A post-blast analysis conducted by the National Security Guard at the scene of attack in Pulwama has established that the SUV driven by the suicide bomber was packed with RDX. A senior government official told The Hindu that preliminary investigations suggested that 100-150 kg of RDX was used in the attack on the CRPF convoy on Thursday. The official said samples had been collected for further forensic analysis.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has warned YES Bank that it might face regulatory action for allegedly violating a confidentiality clause by disclosing a nil divergence report. In a letter to the private lender, the regulator said the bank had violated regulatory guidelines in the press release where it had made this disclosure last week.

Nil divergence is not an achievement to be published and is only compliance with the extant Income Recognition and Asset Classification norms, said the RBI’s letter.

Tata Motors Friday said its hatchback Tiago has crossed cumulative sales milestone of two lakh units in the domestic market.

Shares of Bharat Dynamics soared 16 per cent to Rs 263 apiece on the BSE in an otherwise weak market after the company reported a robust net profit of Rs 188 crore in December 2018 quarter (Q3FY19). The state-owned defence company had a profit of Rs 6.18 crore in the year-ago quarter.
