The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued new guidelines on Wednesday for opening up more activities in areas outside the containment zones.

In these guidelines, which will come into effect from October 1, 2020, the process of re-opening of activities has been extended, further ensuring economic activities in the country keep rolling while keeping COVID-19 under control.

In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped and killed in Uttar Pradesh's Balrampur on Tuesday. The victim was a second-year B.Com student and was on her way back home from college when she was gang-raped.
