RSI manufactures its Echo Systems product using a combination of new parts and recycled content. The recycled content consists primarily of modular furniture parts originally manufactured by Haworth®, Inc. and fabric milled from recycled fabrics and plastics. Since 1987, RSI has manufactured Echo Systems in its Tempe, Arizona plant, and starting in June of 2009, RSI distributes Echo Systems to the East coast through its distribution center in Norcross, Georgia.

There are many names in the office furniture industry for recycled modular office furniture. People use the terms refurbished instead of recycled and cubicles or workstations instead of modular office furniture. As such, you can call it recycled modular office furniture, recycled cubicles, recycled workstations, refurbished modular office furniture, refurbished cubicles or refurbished workstations.
